The Umuada Amiyi-Akah is pleased to announce a Free Medical Outreach on Eye Care for our beloved community. This life-changing initiative arises from our deep concern for our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and children who silently endure eye problems due to lack of access to affordable healthcare

Vision is one of life’s greatest treasures, yet many in our community are at risk of avoidable blindness or impaired sight. With this outreach, we hope to restore dignity, health, and hope to those who may otherwise continue to suffer in silence.

The outreach is scheduled to take place as follows:

• Date: 3rd January, 2026

• Venue: St. Paul’s Primary School, Amiyi

During this event, participants will benefit from:

• Free professional eye screening and consultations by qualified specialists.

• Free reading glasses to improve vision for those in need.

• Distribution of essential eye care medications and referrals for advanced treatment where necessary.

• Health education sessions focused on the prevention of blindness and the promotion of healthy eye practices.

This program is more than just a medical mission. It is a demonstration of the love and solidarity that defines us as the people of Amiyi-Akah. We believe that good health is the foundation of a strong community, and through this initiative, the Umuada Amiyi-Akah is committed to ensuring that no one is left behind when it comes to eye care.
