On 28 December 2024, Sir Dr. Madu Victor Uzoma was elected President General of the Amiyi-Akah autonomous community.
Dr. Madu is a certified teacher registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and an active member of several academic associations. He has held distinguished academic and leadership positions, serving three terms as Head of the Agricultural Education Department and three terms as Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum, Yobe State.
Beyond academia, Dr. Madu has demonstrated remarkable community leadership. He served for eight years as the President General of the Igbo Welfare Association, Potiskum, Yobe State.
Dr. Madu Victor Uzoma is also a member of the Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM), where he continues to uphold the values of faith, service, and community development.
His academic journey is marked by excellence. He obtained his Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, followed by a Bachelor of Science (Ed.) in Vocational Agricultural Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He further pursued postgraduate studies at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, where he earned a Master of Technology in Agricultural Technology Education and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology.
In terms of scholarly contributions, Dr. Madu has published over 40 scholarly articles in reputable local and international journals and contributed to 10 books of readings (chapter contributions). He is also the author of two influential books:

Sir Dr. Madu Victor Uzoma is happily married to Lady Madu Geraldine Chinwe, and their union is blessed with five children, three boys and two girls.
